A few statistics for this round:
There were 28 total remixes (27 regular and 1 Bonus). We had 4 pinch-hits, 2 of which were pinch-hits for pinch-hits. We are stupendously grateful for the pinch-hit team! A range of pairings were represented--Sherlock/John appeared most often with 10 (including "implied"), almost matched by 9 Gen stories without pairings (including friendships); 3 stories featured Sally Donovan, including Sally/Molly (the only f/f, I believe); there were 4 Lestrade/Sherlock, 3 John/Lestrade/Sherlock, 2 John/Lestrade implied, and 1 Lestrade/Sarah; John/Mary appeared in 2 stories; and there were a sprinkling of other single-appearance pairings, including Mycroft/Sherlock, Mycroft/John, John/Moran, Sherlock/Victor, and Sherlock/Irene. Did I miss anything?

As mentioned elsewhere, we've had a fantastic collection of remixes this round, of outstanding quality and inventiveness. Remixing is a challenge and an art. There's a lot here for readers to enjoy and writers to be proud of. Our profound thanks also to betas and britpickers for their contributions. persiflager in particular has been generous with her time and expertise.

I wanted to give a quick apology for how late the last two fics were posted. I had a bit of a RL emergency (nothing serious), but it took time and caused the delay. I'm sorry!

So, that's it, posting is done. If you haven't already, please read all of the absolutely fantastic fics that were submitted this time around. Truly, the quality this year was amazing and everyone who participated should be very proud of yourselves. Next, I wanted to thank my interim co-mod unovis and our fearless leader innie_darling for all they've done. unovis was absolutely on top of the game the whole time, innie_darling is epic and wonderful, and I had a ton of fun helping out with this.

Next, we had a request to have a guessing post during the anonymous posting phase. This is that post! Please feel free to use the comments to take a stab at who wrote what.

Again, please take the opportunity to read the wonderful fics we had this time around and also give some love to the original authors while you're at it.

Translated, this first line of the aria is “Take it--because of me, you are free.” The woman being wooed, the one holding the power, buys his enlistment back from the army for the would-be lover and shows him her gift in the aria. But then she says more.

The original story was a response to a challenge to write a story without using the letter “e” and makes reference to the other famous aria from the opera.

Just a note on the schedule for the last remixes to be posted. So far, we have 8 more stories to post (7 regular and 1 bonus). We'll be splitting those between tonight and tomorrow. Following the last remix posted, we'll put up a guessing post for anyone who wants to play.

We hope this gives everyone a bit more time to read. Even the mods have been taking a little longer to read and leave feedback after the weekend. We've had a terrific collection of works this round, and all our participants have done themselves proud.

It appears that comments to posts in this comm are restricted to members at present. The interim mods, myself and nox_candida, can't change that. We can approve requests for membership, once we check that the LJ account isn't a spammer.

I'm sorry, we weren't aware of this default setting.

After the authors' names are revealed, remixes should be available elsewhere, including AO3 in the Sherlock Remix community.

On Wednesday, innie_darling, the comm maintainer, will be back. She's put a tremendous amount of thoughtful work into this challenge from the beginning, and we thank her for it.
